We are going to start off the New Year with a bang, head for Big Bear, and never look back! Unless it is to see our fearless Youth Pastor "ski" down the mountain face first...again!

Departing BHPC at 3:30pm on Friday, January 30, we will head to a Presbyterian Campground at the foot of Big Bear Mountain. They will take care of our accommodations and food during the trip. Girls and boys will have separate cabins, plus a common area with a fireplace for games, movies, and late-night Bible study! We will enjoy a weekend of skiing, sledding, snowboarding, and some very serious snowball fighting!

WHO:    Junior and Senior High Students of BHPC (and any friends that may want to join us)!

COST:   $168 (2 nights/4meals food & lodging, ski lift ticket, ski/snowboard rental, & Friday dinner)

WHAT ELSE:   $75 deposit due by January 11, 2009.

Camp 2008 Update

This year's week long camp at Calvin Crest Conferences, just outside of Yosemite, proved to be the best camp experience EVER! Our campers embarked on a weeklong journey of fun, exploration, and most importantly, soul searching. Between bible study with the 290 other campers from across California, to their private group time in the forrest, they wrestled with subjects that many adults have a hard time tackling, including true faith, God's Will/Plan, temptation, doubt, and that ever so formidable idea of Satan! In the end, our campers emerged ready to begin on a year long mission to discover who Jesus is, how He can help them in their daily lives as high schoolers, and a desire to consciously make Jesus a part of their lives Monday through Saturday.
