On May 6th, we will be joining with thousands of other volunteers across Los Angeles for a day of community building through service.  We will be working with "Heal the Bay" as we clean up the beach in Santa Monica and with "Operation Gratitude" as we put together care packages for the troops over seas.  

15 BHPC volunteers (men, women, children 12 years+) will have the opportunity to help serve breakfast at Union Rescue Mission (URM) on Saturday, April 21st, 2012.  Our volunteer group will meet at URM at 6:00am and serve there until 9:00am.  All kitchen supplies and food items will be provided by URM, and their kitchen staff will direct and supervise all cooking and serving activities. We will be having our Annual Congregational Meeting on April 29th after the late service in the Sanctuary.  If you are interested, come on out.  Just remember, you need to be a member to vote!

Symposium at 2:00 pm, Concert at 3:30 pm

Join us as Pastor Worth discusses the Biblical text of Song of Songs with Jewish and Catholic Clergy in an Interfaith Symposium. This month, BHPC joined a group from Malibu Presbyterian to build homes in Baja, Mexico. See the pics and video!

This informative, helpful class is for all who are interested in learning more about BHPC and who are considering membership. The class meets in the library from 12:15—3:30 pm and begins with lunch.
